The Southeastern Utah Junior Livestock Show has been held in Ferron, Utah since 1937. The show is one of five livestock shows in Utah that are open to all 4-H and FFA youth in the state. Exhibitors from grades 3 through 12 (8 through 18 years of age) show off their market lambs, hogs, steers, breeding beef and sheep, rabbits, and goats. Contestants also compete in showmanship, judging and portfolio (record book) contests. Exhibitors receive ribbons and prizes, and are able to auction one lamb, steer or hog through the market animal sale.
The show is held the first full Wednesday through Saturday after the Fourth of July at the show facility at 100 East 100 South in Ferron.
